How This Started

I've been drawn to technology since I was young. When I started working professionally in 2002, I began with car audio and found my rhythm there. But over time, I wanted to expand into what fascinated me more—home and commercial systems. CCTV, alarm systems, access control, lighting automation. The work felt more meaningful because it was protecting what mattered to people.

After 20 years of learning from every job, every client, every new tool that came on the market, I realized I wanted to work differently. I wanted to be the person at every jobsite. Not checking in—actually there, hands on, making sure the work was done right. So I started Avns Solutions.

Every year I'm still attending conventions, classes, and expos. Not because I have to, but because the technology keeps evolving. AI in surveillance. New access control systems. Smart lighting that actually works the way you want it to. If I'm going to be the one overseeing your project, I need to know what's possible right now, not what I learned last year.

What We've Learned
